The Orion VII is Orion Bus Industries' newest low-floor bus model that is being introduced for the very first time to the U.S. and Canadian markets. The Orion VII demo has toured such cities as New York, NY, USA, and Mississauga, ON, Canada, the location of their main manufacturing plant. New York's MTA has made a purchase of 125 hybrid-electric and 250 compressed natural gas buses, making the MTA the very first buyers of the company's newest model AND also meaning that the MTA is the first to try a new model for the first time in 50 years, since the Binghams of the 1950s.
